Established in 2013, Kairos Academy SA has been offering educational guidance and administrative services to South African families. We’ve played a leading role in introducing the American HS Diploma as a matriculation choice for our homeschool community, fostering connections with government bodies, tertiary institutions, and global stakeholders to support our students.
In 2020, we teamed up with HLA to provide a homeschool-friendly American HS Diploma option along with local support and expertise to families. This partnership expanded in 2022 to include various local learning centers and Classical Conversation SA communities.
Our foundation rests on values of Excellence, Community, and Integrity, aligning with our partner’s commitment to inspire, equip, foster a love for learning, and provide freedom and flexibility.

Our Kairos Families
- Our community comprises individuals who are diverse, dedicated, focused, and supportive, both of their students and their fellow Kairos families.
- Our families consist of independent homeschoolers, members of Classical Conversation communities, or supported by independent tutors. All value the flexibility of their study environment, access to high-quality and affordable educational resources, and the freedom to tailor their academic calendar and study location.
- Our 1,150+ students range from 5 to 20 years old. Whilst most are located in South Africa, an increasing number are outside scattered worldwide serving as ambassadors for Kairos and making positive impacts wherever they go.
